SonicWall Firewall
Pre-requisites:
- Must have GMS server or On-Prem Analytics server installed and configured.
- Have an Address Object Created on the Firewall for SonicWall Analytics system.
Navigate to Device > Log > Syslog
Select Syslog Servers and Click Add

Select the Name or IP address of the Syslog server from the dropdown. Enter the port provided by SolCyber.

Select Syslog Format as ‘Enhanced’.
Click ‘OK’.
Configure the Firewall Action Template#
Log in to your SonicWall management interface.
Navigate to MANAGE > Logs & Reporting > Configure Log Settings.
Click the Import Template button.
Select Firewall Action from the dropdown menu.

Click OK to apply the template.
Note: The Firewall Action template is based on the Analyzer/Viewpoint/GMS template with additional support for logging dropped packets. This makes it ideal for troubleshooting connection issues while maintaining compatibility with SonicWall reporting software.
